Are your technicians bonded and insured?

Yes, we carry a minimum of 5 Million in liability insurance for general service call work. This amount is increased on a case by case basis, depending on the project involved for jobs other than service work.

What makes your company stand out above the others?

We have completed numerous jobs across western Canada and Central America over the last 20 years. We have seen good and bad construction. We have completed volunteer work in places like Nicaragua and Mexico. We have seen old and new wiring methods. We are homeowners and business owners just like our customers. It is with this knowledge and experience that we complete each job to the complete satisfaction of each customer . We have never had a non compliance order issued by any safety inspector , city inspector or business owner in our history. We have a work safe BC account in excellent standing.

How do you charge for materials on service calls?

This is probably the most common question asked on service calls, whether they are for home or business troubleshooting. This cost often raises concerns about mark-up and quality of materials used. Our service trucks are equipped with hundreds of parts used to repair or replace the most common items found to be faulty like thermostats, switches, temperature sensors etc. This makes it possible to repair the problem while on site without the added time required to go and get it and return. For this service we mark up materials 15% which covers the time and paperwork to obtain and stock the parts and offer a 1yr guarantee . There would be no advantage for a contractor to provide lower grade products and have to return free of charge to repair or replace it at a later date. Homeowners also don’t alway know which product is most reliable and would rather trust the experts to repair a problem with the right product and guarantee.
