This is probably the most common question asked on service calls, whether they are for home or business troubleshooting. This cost often raises concerns about mark-up and quality of materials used. Our service trucks are equipped with hundreds of parts used to repair or replace the most common items found to be faulty like thermostats, switches, temperature sensors etc. This makes it possible to repair the problem while on site without the added time required to go and get it and return. For this service we mark up materials 15% which covers the time and paperwork to obtain and stock the parts and offer a 1yr guarantee . There would be no advantage for a contractor to provide lower grade products and have to return free of charge to repair or replace it at a later date. Homeowners also don’t alway know which product is most reliable and would rather trust the experts to repair a problem with the right product and guarantee.
